Whistler is a Canadian resort town located in the Southern Pacific Ranges of the Coast Mountains of beautiful British Columbia, Canada. It is approximately 125 kilometres (78 miles) north of the city of Vancouver. It has a permanent population of over 9000 residents. Whistler is one of the top destinations in North America with over 2 million visitors each year. Its pedestrian village has won numerous design awards. Whistler Blackcomb Mountains have over 7,000 acres of ski and snowboard terrain with 13 alpine bowls, 3 glaciers, 200 marked trails, and 37 lifts for skiers and snowboarders ranging from novice to expert. Whistler will be the host of the 2010 Winter Olympics!

Whistler Blackcomb is approximately two and a half hours away from the Vancouver Airport and it is located on the Sea-to-Sky highway. Whistler transportation can be found in many different ways: Limousines, buses, private sedans, vans, or even by helicopter. It takes around six hours to arrive in Whistler from Seattle or SeaTac to by limousine. It is also a great way to view the scenery and less expensive than a plane ride. The ride along the Sea-to-Sky highway will take your breath away with the views of the ocean and mountains. This area is world renowned for it's ancient temperate rainforests; with towering Douglas Fir trees, rugged mountains, and even exquisite animals such as whales, bears, hawks and cougars. Whistler's urban landscape is specifically designed to accommodate the natural environment surrounding it.
